How Vinted fees work
Vinted does not charge sellers any selling or payment fees. You keep 100% of your asking price. Instead, the buyer pays a separate Buyer Protection fee (typically around 5% + $0.70) on top of your price, which does not come out of your earnings.
- Seller fees: none. You keep 100% of your listed price.
- Buyer Protection fee: paid by the buyer, usually about 5% + $0.70, added on top of your price.
- Shipping: normally paid by the buyer, so it does not reduce your take-home.
- Your only real cost: the item itself (and any postage you choose to absorb).
Vinted seller fees at a glance
| Seller selling fee | $0 |
| Seller payment fee | $0 |
| Buyer Protection fee (paid by buyer) | ~5% + $0.70 |
| Listing fee | $0 (free) |
Worked example: on a $30 sale, Vinted fees come to about $0.00, leaving you $30.00 before your item cost and shipping.
- Because sellers pay nothing, your net profit is simply sale price minus what you paid for the item (and any postage you cover).
- The Buyer Protection fee is charged to the buyer, not deducted from your payout.

Knowing the fees is only half the math. To actually profit, price from real sold comps, subtract these fees and your shipping, and hold a minimum margin. Our profit margin guide walks through it, and the what-is-it-worth guide shows how to find an item’s real value before you buy. Cluzy does both in one scan: it pulls live sold prices and nets out fees so you know your profit on Vinted in seconds.
